September 2018. The Suzi Bass Awards, Atlanta’s annual theatre awards, has announced its nominees for the 2017-2018 season. Corey was involved with two shows nominated for major awards:

Candide at Alliance Theatre was nominated for four Suzis including OUTSTANDING PRODUCTION–MUSICAL

Perfect Arrangement at Theatrical Outfit was nominated for three Suzis including OUTSTANDING PRODUCTION–PLAY and OUTSTANDING ACTING ENSEMBLE–PLAY

September 2018. Submitting production concept for Charles Gonoud’s Romeo et Juliette as Project Lead (director) for Opera America’s Robert L. B. Tobin Director-Designer Showcase. Design team: Beca Lake (Scenic), Jacquelyn Loy (Costume), Mateo Morris (Lighting).

June 2018–Published article “Seven Lessons Learned from Creating an Immersive Theatrical Whodunit” for  Explores some of what went into the creative process of creating 2018’s Murder! at The Strand.
